Dr. Michelle Tome
DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Michelle Tome graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor of science and the obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Guelph in 2005.
Dr. Tome has broad experience in emergency veterinary medicine and has worked at several veterinary emergency hospitals in London, Hamilton and Burlington. After several years in general practice, she has now returned to the Burlington Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital to help provide medical leadership and vision to our fantastic team who dedicate themselves to providing quality care for our beloved pets.
When Dr. Tome is not working, she enjoys a busy life with her husband and three children, four cats, dog and a flock of backyard chickens. She enjoys skiing, tennis, gardening and cooking fabulous treats for her family.
